Beginning of our film opening: Ideas
In this beginning of our film opening, we put all of our ideas we had from the storyboard together and through doing this we decided what things worked well and what things we needed to change. A few things we noticed in creating these were:
- The dialling on the mobile at the beginning was too quickly
- The conversation with both girls is un-needed, only one girl is needed in order to add suspense
- The girl scaring the other needs to be more suspense filled and a mysterious shot in order to make sure the audience do not know who is creeping up on the girl
- There needs to be more stalker shots at the beginning of the film
- The shot of the hand going down the tree needed to be taken out and replaced by another stalker shot
- Some of the shots are silent and therefore a soundtrack of some kind would build the tension
- The house sequence needs to be changed; a conversation is not needed
- Some of the shots need to be edited down and tweaked
